I don't know about you, but I look and feel much better after a 20 minute drive than flying and trucking across multiple countries. At FLORA, we use flowers from local farms in Central Virginia, including our own micro farm in Charlottesville. Our tiny urban farm is a network of 3 unused city lots where we grow cut flowers to delight our customers, our neighbors, and our local pollinator populations.

LOCAL FLOWERS
Are fresher, healthier, and more beautiful than their cellophane-wrapped counterparts. There are so many unique, gorgeous blooms that don't ship well which is why you rarely see them in big box stores or conventional florists.
Our gift bouquets feature 100% local flowers, and our event floral designs use as many local flowers as possible.
Buying Flowers Won't Change the World.
But getting a local bouquet that was planted, harvested, and created with intention might make you feel more connected to your community, nature, and yourself.
And giving local flowers to someone you love or someone you don't even know could change the world just a little.
