We use local flowers from farms in Central Virginia as much as possible, including our own urban farm in Charlottesville where we grow flowers on unused city lots to delight our neighbors, customers, and pollinators.
Hi, I'm Hope. I don't love having my picture on the internet, which is why it's nice to be out of focus behind these dahlias I grew.
I DO love designing wedding florals, though! Let's talk.
All of our designs are foam-free.
What is floral foam? It's a chemically-imbued, non-biodegradeable block of microplastics that renders flower stems unsuitable for composting.
Unfortunately, it remains the industry standard in event floristry.
As a sustainable florist, we are committed to using only reusable mechanics instead of foam and composting all of our organic waste. Not only is this better for the environment, but the flowers are happier as well, looking fresher for your event!
Farm to Vase
Local flowers are fresher, healthier, and arguably more beautiful than their cellophane-wrapped counterparts.
There are so many unique, gorgeous blooms that don't ship well which is why you rarely see them in big box stores or conventional florists.
